Tanner Scraba: 2017 Pembina Scholarship Recipient

The Board of Directors congratulates TANNER SCRABA on being selected as the 2017 recipient of the Pembina Co-op Scholarship in the amount of $1000.

The scholarship was developed to assist students pursuing a career in the construction trades.  Each year, information on the scholarship is sent to the local schools.  In order to be considered for the scholarship, the student’s parents must be members of Pembina Co-op and the student must plan to enter into the apprenticeship program for carpentry, electrical or plumbing.  Interested students need to complete an essay that is sent to the Board of Directors for final selection.  If interested in applying for the scholarship, students should speak with their school’s guidance counselor for the specific details on the program.

Tanner, who has graduated from Souris School in the Southwest Horizon School District, has enrolled in the Carpentry and Woodworking program at Assiniboine Community College for September 2017 with aspirations to attain Journeyman status.

Congratulations, Tanner.  We wish you all the best in your future studies and career.
